Our monumental first piece is a reproduction of the masterpiece “Les Arcs Chair”.
With its soaring price in the vintage market, unfortunately inexpensive but poor reproductions are also out in the market, which doesn’t do justice to the original.
Our aim is to develop the best Les Arcs Chair that is comparable to the original, while respecting the classic. It goes without saying that this superb vintage chair fascinates many.
However, the original has its own concerns due to aging, which includes;
- Many water stains due to the product characteristic of being used at ski
- resorts
- The leather has deteriorated after 50 years and has lost its flexibility, and
- has a risk of tearing due to dry outs
- Unstable to stack the chairs due to frame distortion
Rather than giving up the vintage, we committed to revitalize the classic.

1.Leather texture
Leather that’s been processed and tanned with vegetable tannin in Italy are used for CHESTNUT/BLACK. A leather that age gracefully over time.

2.Burnishing
Although burnishing is a process that is not common in leather processing for furniture, all of the edges have been burnished.

3.Stitch details
Each stitch are sewn by a skilled craftsman using a thick thread. We take pride in our stitch detail since the artistry of stitching is accentuated in this simple design.

4.Modern leg parts
A modern interpretation has been made on the design and materials safe for floors are used on the leg part to resolve the risk of the chairs damaging the floor, which was a concern for the original Les Arcs chair.

5.Unique serial number on each product
All LC-01 chairs have a tag branded with a unique serial number on the back of its seat.
